Tough Enough
It's tough enough
To make me want to loose my head
But instead I pull ahead-
Don't give a f--k about what they said.
It's tough enough
To make me want to loose my mind
But we can't shine all the time.
So I sit back-
Let out a sigh.
I write for no other reason
Than to show the world how tough it is
While we are breathin'.
Season after season
We live on strugglein'-
Tryin' to find the reason,
The meanin' of all of it.
Now I'm sick of it
But still I give a s--t
So I can get to it-
My goals that I've already set.
My dreams are ordinary.
I just want to marry
A beautiful women to have carry
My little babies.
I'm sick of all the maybes.
I need a yes or no-
‘Cause being left in the air makes
Me feel like I'm loosing control.
I'm letting go
To every thing and
Everyone who's done me wrong.
I'll be fine as long
As I have a song
To sing along with.
The world is, oh, so tough.
Only the strong survive.
I haven't had enough-
Check it, I'm still alive.
It's tough enough
To make me want to loose my head
But instead I pull ahead-

So I sit back-
Let out a sigh.
I write for all the people.
Not to be a preacher,
Rather to teach ya
What I see through my peepholes.
Not everyone is equal,
How can they be?
I'm sure you see the
Killing going on in the streets.
These people are on another level.
From the center of the earth
They've come-
Seats right next to the devil.
It's time to stand up-
It's getting hard to live.
If not for yourself
Make a difference for the little kids.
Something has got to give.
So let us move forward to new ways,
Let us all try to change.
As fast as each day comes
The next flies by even faster.
So let's take today to reexamine
The way we live our lives.
